What Project would a laptop help you with?
The Central Park Medical Unit is an all-volunteer ambulance corps in New York City providing 100% free emergency medical care in Central Park since 1975. CPMU has over 150 EMT and paramedic volunteers that include individuals from all walks of life, including teachers, lawyers, engineers, doctors, physicians assistants and nurses. CPMU is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that receives no government funding and is supported entirely by donations. CPMU has responded to every major disaster in New York City including 9/11, Hurricane Sandy, the 2003 blackout and more. CPMU provides medical care to all major events in Central Park including the New York Philharmonic, concerts on the Great Lawn, the Parkinson’s Unity Walk and the NYC Marathon. Unfortunately many of those events will not happen this year, which will result in a loss of donations that are vital to the operations.
