Who Is Your Hero? Why?

I consider President Barack Obama to be one of my heroes because he has had the audacity and the courage to persevere in an environment that did not want him to succeed. His ideals changed my vision for my life and the phrase “Yes We Can” has become one of my motos that motivates me everyday to push forward. ANYTHING is possible!

What Project Would A Laptop Help You With?

What we have observed is that students of all ages, from elementary school to university are faced with the huge problem of finding transportation to go to school each morning. In Conakry, very few parents own cars and the public transportation system consists of overcrowded bush taxis. My business “Guinea Modern Transport” puts in circulation buses specifically for students. The buses have limited seats so they are more spacious, and the bus is equipped with free wifi to allow students to do their homework on-board. In the mornings and evenings we will also serve breakfast and dinner at an extra charge for the long commutes home.

How Would A Laptop Help You?

A laptop would greatly help me with Guinea Modern Transport. With a laptop, I would be able to develop a better database, register my clients, and keep track of our finances. This will allow me to be a better manager and make more informed decisions about the strategy of my company.

What do you love about this project?

What I love most about my project is that we are going to contribute to the development of the transportation sector in Guinea. No one is doing what we are doing so this is actually a disruption in the market that also solves a social need.
