What Project Would A Laptop Help You With?
There are many health problems in our area due to lack of awareness and local taboos. We also suffer from a drinking water shortage. Due to unemployment and lack of technical skills, our tribal youth are becoming unproductive. Through my project; MACS Andhra Pradesh, we provide health care services from our rural health center as well as awareness camps. We are also constructing check-dams to solve the water problem. Lastly, we provide training in solar home lighting systems repair and maintenance.
How Would A Laptop Help You?
It would assist us in creating media to promote the project, provide livelihood opportunities, create proposals and train youth to reduce unemployment.
What do you love about this project?
My parents are also social workers in this area. I have been living in tribal communities since my childhood. I know their problems. Once i completed my studies I returned home and decided to use my skills and knowledge to better my homeland.
