What Are You Most Passionate About?
Leaving a strong legacy for my children. I have been working to solidify my business and make it sustainable so that I can create the lifestyle that I want for my family.
Who Is Your Hero? Why?
My younger brother. After high school he enlisted in the Air Force and began traveling the world on tours of duty. After 8 years of active duty he retired from the military and took off to college. I admire the way went from small time boy to world class hero, all to protect millions of people he would never have a chance to meet.
What Is Your Favorite Sound?
Hearing my infant son laugh. His giggle is infectious and always brightens my day.
What Project Would a Laptop Help You With?
My small business is centered around helping other entrepreneurs and nonprofits build sustainable businesses through marketing and public relations. I help start-ups create a web presence, drive traffic, increase engagement and convert visitors to customers.
How Would A Laptop Help You?
Currently, to do all of my work I’d have to be anchored to a desktop computer. A laptop would allow me the freedom to work anywhere at any time. Additionally, with the flexibility a laptop would afford me, I would finally be able to complete “Red Hen” ; a children’s story about a chicken who finds some seeds and asks all of her friends to help her plant, sow and harvest wheat. While it’s a children’s story in spirit, it would be used in my entrepreneurial workshops as a sort of lesson centerpiece. A simple way to get one’s point across.
What do you love about this project?
I love being able to help my students overcome obstacles and realize their dreams.
What Languages do you speak?
English.
Given a choice, would you prefer a Mac or PC?
