Who Is Your Hero? Why?

My hero is my daughter and co-founder, Zuri Muhammad. She is humble, kind and full of hope. Her goal is to encourage youth to change the world.

What Is Your Favorite Sound?

Laughter, because it’s the language of the soul.

What Project Would a Latop Help you with?

My non-profit organization, Zuri’s Circle.  Our mission is to provide temporary assistance during unforeseen hardship to individuals, families, and the homeless in the form of food boxes, hygeine packages, clothes and furniture.

How Would a Laptop Help You?

Zuri’s Circle is an organization that strives to be much more than we are. This laptop would help us on a mobile scale by providing a portal to those we visit in person. Many people we service lack a computer, so with a laptop we can not only better engage these people through presentations, but we can help them on site with many vital tasks, such as filing for unemployment online.

What do you love about this project?

I enjoy helping all of the people of my community, but what I love most is helping the youth of my community who have been counted out. All of the children I serve have amazing potential and it is our duty to present all with the proper resources to strive and grow.
