What Are You Most Passionate About?

I am most passionate about women’s health. I was a Peace Corps volunteer in Guinea (Bintimodia, Boke Prefecture) and worked with the health center on maternal health and youth issues. This was my first experience in women’s health globally and really opened my eyes to the problems that women face around the world. Currently, I am a medical student and plan to have a career in obstetrics and gynecology. This is also the reason I selected to donate my Mac to a program on female circumcision.

Who Is Your Hero? Why?

My grandmother is my hero, because she gives all she has to everyone and never asks for anything for herself. Without her help and support I would not be who I am and would not be successful in fulfilling my dream of becoming a doctor.
