Father Charlie of Dumont NJ, he has dedicated his life to God and helping those in recovery and is someone who has taught me to be humble and to never judge.

What Project Would A Laptop Help You With?

In 2005 after breaking my ribs I became addicted to painkillers and continued taking them well into 2009. At this time I realized that I needed help and entered into a detox facility. I lost many things during that time including my job and while I did find work again; it was a low wage job making it impossible to afford a laptop to help my volunteer work. With the road to recovery behind me I now set my sights on becoming a licensed drug and alcohol counselor while volunteering with local anti addiction groups. I want to finish rebuilding my life and do my part in ensuring what I went through never happens to anyone else.

How Would A Laptop Help You?

I’m currently working with the recovery community in NJ and getting the word out about upcoming events and group meetings.  It would also help with a job search to better myself and support my family.

What do you love about this project?

I love being able to help others tackle the problems I struggled with.

What Languages do you speak?

English.

Given a choice, would you prefer a Mac or PC?

No preference, I’d be grateful for either.
