Who Is Your Hero? Why?
Chris Gardner, the American entrepreneur. He had a tragic beginning, but he was perseverant, courageous, self-confident, un-shakable, and motivated to find happiness and success. He was a man who remained certain that one day he would reach his dreams, and eventually he did. That inspires me to always believe in myself, even if I’m out to do what others say is impossible.
What Is Your Favorite Sound?
My favorite song is “La Roue Tourne” by Terry James and Zaho.
What Project Would A Laptop Help You With?
The University of Kindia provides limited housing options for students coming from other cities. Most students have to find their own housing which can cost upwards of 400,000 GNF ($53) per month. This housing is often very far away from the university, increasing their costs transportation costs. My family owns a piece of land right next to the University. My solution is to build low cost dormitories using the wild palm trees on our property.
How Would A Laptop Help You?
A computer would help me in doing research for my project. It would give me access to online training to increase my knowledge, learn how to do more precise accounting, and see professionally designed construction plans. It will also allow me to connect with the world, especially the United States.
What Languages do you speak?
French, English, Soussou, Pulhar, and Malinke.
Given a choice, would you prefer a Mac or PC?
I would prefer a Mac.
