What Are You Most Passionate About?
Training young people for social entrepreneurship.
Who Is Your Hero? Why?
A hero is someone who saves you. My hero is Ahmed Sekou Touré, the first president of the Republic of Guinea. He fought for the independence of my country from French colonialism. Without him, me and my family would not be free people now
What Is Your Favorite Sound?
My favorite band is Banliez’art. Their song “Setima” motivates me.
What Project Would A Laptop Help You With?
I am an entrepreneurship trainer. Each year I train around 260 youth in entrepreneurship and I help develop around 75 business plans. Often, this rich information gets lost. It is hard for me to do monitoring and evaluation of all the clients because I don’t have a computer. I’m tired of losing track of people who need my help to grow and become independent entrepreneurs.
How Would A Laptop Help You?
A laptop would help me to create a database for all my trainees, which would improve my performance as well as theirs. It would also help me to help the youth with their business plans, keep in contact with my trainees, continually adapt my training modules and PowerPoints, and do research and online training to reinforce my skills.
What do you love about this project?
I adore the social aspect, getting to meet so many people and see so many minds grow.
What Languages do you speak?
French, Puular, Sousou and English.
Given a choice, would you prefer a Mac or PC?
I would prefer a Mac.
