Who Is Your Hero? Why?

My mother because she has struggled all her life. Having lost her parents at a young age, she has single handedly raised us and made us into who we are today.

What Is Your Favorite Sound?

The sound of birds chirping from the trees during the early morning hours.

What Project would a laptop help you with?

I teach a digital night school. It is a grassroots project which empowers women and children from the villages. It widens their knowledge and makes them capable of earning clerical jobs which they would not have been able to get without basic computer knowledge.

How Would A Laptop Help You?

We currently run classes on tablets, which is a very small display for an entire class. With a laptop, my classes can be conducted more easily because lot of people can sit and look at the screen at the same time – also, it’ll be an addition to the tablet so those who cannot see the laptop screen can still follow along.

What do you love about this project?

That we are helping those who would otherwise be deprived of learning get ahead in the world.
