What Are You Most Passionate About?
Guinean culture, including music, cuisine, and traditions.
Who Is Your Hero? Why?
I must say that my parents are my heroes. They instilled in me an appreciation for the importance of education, and they sacrificed a lot to make sure I could pursue my goals. I would not be where I am today without their support.
What Is Your Favorite Sound?
A lion’s roar because it is a symbol of strength.
What project would a laptop help you with?
I work to teach girls about topics including avoiding early marriage, the dangers of female genital mutilation, and the importance of education.
How Would A Laptop Help You?
With a laptop, I would be able to do more research on these topics, plan my lessons in a more organized manner, and track the impact of my work. I would also like to use a laptop to integrate visual aids and film into my lessons. With many topics, including reproductive health and anatomy, I feel that girls would better understand the content if I could show them pictures or videos.
What do you love about this project?
This project will give the girls in my community information they need in order to be able to take charge of their own futures. When girls are empowered like this, the whole community will benefit.

French, Pular, Fulakounda and Maninke
Given a choice, would you prefer a Mac or PC?
