What Are You Most Passionate About?

I am passionate about children and their development. With the right education and chances, they can strive and change lives. Our future lies in them!

I am also passionate about continuing my own education so that I can be a role model for the women and young people around me, be it in the USA, Europe, Africa or Asia.

Who Is Your Hero? Why?

My grandmother. She was a giver, raised five sons, and educated a number of children through her lifetime. She believed that it only takes one person to change someone else’s life and empower them, and that if someone helps you, you should help someone else. Her motto was “If someone angers you, they have touched you. Figure out the source of that feeling, learn from it, and make sure you don’t upset people for the same reason.”

What Is Your Favorite Sound?

My favorite sound is definitely the ocean. It has the power to calm my spirits instantly.

What Project Would A Laptop Help You With?

I work with a production company who seeks to bring together the French-speaking community living abroad in NYC – regardless of their country of origin (France, Belgium, Senegal, etc). We are creating an online platform where local francophones talk about their experience and offer advice, tips, recommendations to those visiting or planning to settle down. Our primary reason for doing this is to help the young transition from one continent to another and so we can avoid the burnout sensation that often arises from homesickness.

How Would A Laptop Help You?

Having a laptop will help me keep up with everyone else in the company! It will also serve me to be in constant communication with different organizations, investors, talent and partners. I would prefer a Mac.

What Languages do you speak?

Fluent French and English. Intermediate Dutch. Broken Swahili and Luo, my mother tongue.
