What Project Would A Laptop Help You With?
My dream is to go to film school.
Short Description Of Project
I came to the United States of America three months ago. Before coming the the USA I was living in a refugee camp for 6 years. I arrived to Kakuma Refugee Camp because I was fleeing the war from my country, Congo. I walked across 3 borders in order to save my brothers and I. Unfortunately while at the refugee camp I had to drop out of school to take care of my brothers. Now that I am in America I want to get my GED, so that I can eventually go to film school.
How Would A Laptop Help You?
I was able to make several documentaries and short films while I was in Kakuma. I want to tell stories of people overcoming the impossible in Africa. I want to inspire people with the stories I am going to tell. The computer will help me study for my GED and it will help me edit the short film I want to make before I get to film school. I don’t have a camera but I have a phone and with that I can make movies!
I would prefer a MAC so I can edit on it.
