What Are You Most Passionate About?

I really enjoy when I give a small challenge to the children which they first are apprehensive about, but eventually succeed in it, surprising themselves. I love bringing out the creativity in children through story creation, storytelling, creative problem solving and different arts.

Who is someone who inspires you?

Joy Srinivasan, the founder of Makkala Jagriti as she is the one who helped me become who I am today. I could never have imagined that I would be making a difference to thousands of children.

What Is Your Favorite Sound?

The sounds of children laughing.

What Project would a laptop help you with?

I presently work with the state home for children in need of care and protection. Most often these are children who have gone through some trauma in their lives.They usually have given up all hope and while away their time, drowned in negativity.

How Would A Laptop Help You?

We facilitate life skills and creative development sessions.  We often utilize video so having access to a computer would make world of difference in instruction.

What do you love about this project?

Being able to bring out the innate talent and the subdued curiosity from these children. I work in the hope that they will go back to their homes with a semblance of renewed hope.
