Who Is Your Hero? Why?

Author Mary Karr. She doesn’t simply write powerful memoir, but she gives a voice to other women like herself who had abusive childhoods or unstable homes. She helps others to know that they are not alone in their experiences and she succeeds at this in entertaining, and at times humorous ways.
