I’m originally from New Jersey and I grew up always hanging at the beach. I love listening to the waves – so calming.

What Project Would A Laptop Help You With?

I am the director of Million Hoodies — a racial justice group founded after the murder of Trayvon Martin to protect and empower young people of color.

Million Hoodies is committed to protecting and empowering young people of color from mass criminalization and violence, including state-sanctioned & police violence through strategic communications, grassroots organizing, and creative technology.

Our organization seeks to build a safer and fair America by transforming the public narrative on the criminalization of young people of color while providing the tools necessary for communities to protect themselves.

How Would A Laptop Help You?

These laptops will help with the ongoing work to protect and empower young people to be used by a mostly volunteer team of staff and interns. Given the choice, we’d prefer Macs.
