What Are You Most Passionate About?

Helping others! I am a nurturer by nature and that’s why I am currently in nursing school. I want to be the person who people come to when they need to feel better. I love taking care of people as well as playing a role in providing them with a better quality of life. My passion for other human beings have allowed me to be able to provide care to some of the most vulnerable populations in today’s society.

Who Is Your Hero? Why?

My hero would have to be a nurse name Kelly who I had the opportunity to work with when I was a CNA. Kelly was a not just a nurse, but she was a nurturer by nature when it came to providing care to her patients. Kelly did not just look at the patient’s diagnosis she looked at the patient as a whole. I always say when I become a nurse I “hope to be half the nurse Kelly is”.

What Is Your Favorite Sound?

The sound is the sound of ocean waves. This sound brings an inner peace within me and calms any worries, fears, or anxiousness that I may be feeling at that particular time.

What Project Would A Laptop Help You With?

A laptop would help me to complete my evidence based writing assignments that are required in nursing school, my patient care plans that are required in nursing school, my online classes which is apart of the nursing curriculum as well as being able to browse the internet for information pertaining to disease processes, medications, etc.

What do you love about this project?

I love that this project gives a gift of continued hope for people that are not able to afford a laptop. This project provides a future for our future doctors, therapist, teachers, nurses, etc., and last but not least our youth.
