I am most passionate about working with children be it counselling or mentoring.

Who Is Your Hero? Why?

My hero is Swami Vivekananda. He was a great visionary. His spiritual views on how an individual can have a fulfilling life in his society have greatly inspired me.

What Is Your Favorite Sound?

I love the sound of drums, what we call “Dholak” in Hindi.

What Project Would A Laptop Help You With?

I am an independent consultant. I work with organizations such as the Credibility Alliance and SARC (Social Actions and Research Center) as an assessor for NGOs, a trainer for teachers and employees, and as a guidance counselor for children. These jobs entail making proposals, writing up reports and making presentations on how well the organizations work and where they need improvement. Currently, I do most of this work by hand so it would be incredibly helpful to have my own computer to work off of.

How Would A Laptop Help You?

First of all it would save me the trouble of transferring data collected manually to a system. Secondly I would have a record of all the projects I work with in one place. Lastly, it would give me an opportunity to conduct more independent training sessions for children and teachers on importance of education and life skills training.

What do you love about this project?

I love interacting with my community, especially the children to guide them on making the right choices. I love learning from the NGOS about their wonderful contributions to society.
