What Are You Most Passionate About?

Working for a non-profit organization near my village. By joining this organization, I have also given training of solar system to women of different states of India.

Who is someone who inspires you?

Bhagwat Nandan, we call him ‘Guru ji’. His transformation from a village boy, to temple priest, to teacher and solar engineer inspires me. He has also formed a team of master trainers who work diligently under his leadership. Wise and caring, everyone who is a part of his team is lucky to be around him.

What Is Your Favorite Sound?

The sound of people talking while working. I get to know people deeply when I listen to them.

What Project would a laptop help you with?

We train women with solar powered systems so that they can install Tire energy powered systems in their village, a relatively new method of harnessing energy that involves generating heat and electricity from old tires. 

How Would A Laptop Help You?

I am currently a part of the Solar Tech Support Program and I need a laptop to give my village a greater level of support with which I complete tasks more efficiently.

What do you love about this project?

Learning through experience. Book learning is great but it pales in comparison to the stimulating and hectic environment of supporting our amazing solar engineers.
