What Are You Most Passionate About?
Providing support for individuals and enabling them to be the best they can be! I love working with people and embracing the underprivileged. Together we are one.
Who Is Your Hero? Why?
My hero is without a doubt my Mom, my biggest cheerleader. I met her when I was four years old and she always cherished the light in me. I wouldn’t be the person I am today without her.
What Is Your Favorite Sound?
The sound that comes from a frog. I hang out along the riverside to watch critters and one of them is a bright lime green frog. It sounds like a duck with a deep quack.
What Project Would A Laptop Help You With?
I am currently part of a group called Civitan International, an NGO that helps people in their communities through various volunteering activities such as collecting food for the homeless, lending aid to retirement homes, and building projects for children with disabilities.
How Would A Laptop Help You?
A laptop would help me to finish up my work on a degree and move towards fundraising for Civitan. This organization provided a real home for me over the years and I’m in the process of taking courses to develop the skills needed to be a leader in this group.
I need only 6 more credit hours before I can officially graduate. On top of that I am in the process of learning how to effectively fund raise through eBay. Our group volunteers often and received campus club of the year in May of 2016, but we definitely want to continue challenging our club and growing.
What do you love about this project?
What I love about Hopeful Civitan is the possibility to make a large impact. Together!
What Languages do you speak?
English.
Given a choice, would you prefer a Mac or PC?
Either.
