What Are You Most Passionate About?

I’m most passionate about writing and communication. I’ve learned to never take those gifts for granted. I work as a teacher’s aide for autistic students and as an inner city English tutor.

Who Is Your Hero? Why?

My parents are my heroes. They’re Haitian immigrants who moved to the USA to give their children a better life. They uprooted their own lives and comforts for our sakes.

What Is Your Favorite Sound?

Birds singing on a summer morning. To me, this signifies a new day, new opportunities, and a “do-over”. It sends a signal to the body that there’s more time to live and be a blessing to another person who needs it.

What project would a laptop help you with? Give a short description.

Because I love writing, a laptop would help me finally put my thoughts in a safe place. Not only would my writing be organized but I could finally write the book I’ve been dreaming of. This book wouldn’t be just about me but the experiences of my community and the world. I pray that people who read my book of experiences will find a way to aid in their communities. To be a part of volunteering for a school, hospital, and find what truly matters in life.
